Next week a mailer will be going to all UA members in Illinois from the Illinois Pipe Trades.
The purpose of it is to get information out about the Navigator Co2 pipeline project. Navigator is having some opposition from environmental groups and needs public support for the project. They will be asked to simply sign the online petition that goes to the ICC.
Please contact your members, by whatever means that you deem appropriate, to let them know that it is coming and ask them to support UA jobs in Illinois.
Navigator has agreed to use All Union labor on this project.
